Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Awareness Micro-Credential

Designed for anyone passionate about fostering inclusivity in their workplace or community, this short, flexible course is perfect for professionals. Learn to address unconscious bias, promote equity, and develop strategies to build diverse, thriving teams in more equitable environments. Delivered fully online, whether you're aiming to improve workplace culture, advocate for underrepresented groups, or develop an inclusive mindset, this course provides the tools to make meaningful change.

Diploma in Disability Studies

A two-year, part-time programme designed to deepen understanding of disability in social, cultural, and historical contexts. It takes a critical approach to the traditional views of disability, emphasising empowerment, inclusion, and the lived experiences of people with disabilities.

This course is ideal for professionals across all aeras, especially in education, healthcare, advocacy, human resources or community work, as well as anyone passionate about disability rights and inclusion. Modules cover diverse topics, including the social model of disability, accessibility, equality, and advocacy. The programme fosters critical thinking and equips graduates with practical skills to challenge barriers and promote change in their communities.

Higher Diploma in Facilitating Inclusion

A one-year, part-time programme aimed at those working in education, community development, or social care who want to enhance their ability to create inclusive spaces, this course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and practical skills to support individuals with diverse needs, ensuring that all members of society can fully participate and thrive.

There are no similar programmes currently available in Ireland. The Higher Diploma offers a natural progression route for graduates of the QQ1 Level 7 Diploma in Disability Studies, Diploma in Autism Studies (and other courses) as well as an opportunity for anyone working in disability in either a paid, voluntary, or caring capacity, to enhance their knowledge and skills.
